KTP has recently installed their Fire SMS System at Leeds City College Group. The Company based in Derbyshire has rolled out the System over 10 campuses.
“We are pleased to have just implemented our Market Leading Fire SMS System throughout Leeds City College campuses and Keighley College” said Paul Watkins, Director with KTP.
The Fire SMS System enables hearing impaired students, staff or visitors to be alerted in the event of a fire. The System has been commissioned over 10 sites at virtually no extra cost than the College was paying for the maintenance of their existing Deaf Paging Systems. The KTP Fire SMS System is a new innovative product which is not only more user friendly than the Deaf Paging System that was being used, it will also provide significant savings for Leeds City College in the long term.
Quentin Whitaker, Deputy Head of Estates and Facilities for Leeds City College Group said “From initial enquiry to installation, KTP provided an excellent service. Their engineers liaise directly with LCCG’s contractors to ensure a smooth transition to the Fire SMS System. We have received very positive feedback from students and staff who have signed up to the new system.”
Since 2003, KTP has been consulting on, designing, manufacturing and supplying Access & Fire Safety Systems specifically designed to assist organisations in becoming accessible for all, by providing solutions to ensure the protection and inclusion of disabled and vulnerable people. We have a long and excellent track record, working with Hotel Groups, Retailers, Banks and Blue Chip companies and a wide variety of public institutions including Universities, Schools, Colleges and Councils, priding ourselves on our exceptional customer service.
